Replacement Components

Replacement components are manufactured or sourced to replace worn, broken or lost parts in existing equipment, matched to the original by drawing, sample or measurements. Quick replacement reduces downtime and dependence on original suppliers.

What it is

Worn parts are measured, with allowance for wear, and materials and heat treatment are matched or improved. Critical dimensions such as fits, threads and bearing seats are confirmed with mating parts where possible.

Urgent breakdown replacements can be prioritised with conventional machining for speed.

Typical applications

  • Breakdown and maintenance spares
  • Worn shafts, gears and bushes
  • Broken brackets and castings
  • Seals, fasteners and hardware
  • Upgraded replacements

Materials & grades

  • Steels, stainless steels and cast iron
  • Aluminium, brass, bronze and copper
  • Engineering plastics and rubber

Points to consider

  • Send the worn part and mating components if possible.
  • Note what failed; an improved material may help.
  • Record the drawing for future spares.
  • Share urgency for breakdown priority.

Frequently asked questions

Can you make a replacement from a broken part?

Yes. We measure it, allow for wear and damage, confirm material, and manufacture a replacement.

Can the replacement be better than the original?

Often yes, for example with a harder material or better surface treatment where the original wore out.

How fast can replacements be made?

Simple parts can be quick; urgent breakdown jobs are prioritised where possible.
